Málaga’s Magnific launches €10 million fund to help creative teams turn AI experiments into production-ready campaigns

Magnific (formerly Freepik), an AI platform for creatives based in Málaga, has introduced the Magnific Fund. This €10 million project is designed to assist marketing, advertising, and in-house creative teams in the shift from AI experimentation to fully integrated, production-ready workflows for their campaigns.

The fund is mainly aimed at SMEs and creative teams across the European Union and the United Kingdom, with organizations outside Europe also eligible for evaluation on a case-by-case basis.

“Creative teams are facing significant pressure to produce more content, in various formats, for multiple markets, all while maintaining quality and brand consistency. The objective of this fund is to equip European and UK businesses with the necessary tools, workflows, and training to integrate AI into their production line seamlessly, rather than as a mere experiment,” stated José Florido, CMDO of Magnific.

Established in Malaga in 2010, Magnific develops AI-powered creative tools for professionals, studios, and brands. Its AI Suite combines image generation, video creation, upscaling, and a library of over 250 million stock graphic assets in a unified workspace. Formerly known as Freepik, the company rebranded to Magnific in April 2026, boasting an Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) exceeding €200 million.

Companies accepted into the program will receive substantial support in their initial year to implement Magnific Business. Key advantages include a 30% discount on the Magnific Business plan for the first 12 months, applied to monthly renewals for up to a year, and an additional 30% discount on additional credits during the same period.

Selected companies will also gain exclusive access to the newly expanded training program, encompassing the AI Marketing Playbook (a practical guide with real-world use cases and ready-to-use prompts), on-demand video series, monthly live webinars, and continuous training support.

The company also offers personalized onboarding for teams with 30 or more seats, tailored to assist them in setting up their brand kit, fostering collaborative environments within Spaces, and launching their initial campaign.

The initiative targets teams seeking to enhance campaign assets, product imagery, localized content, and social media formats without escalating production complexity.

Magnific reports that brands like Puma (for its Manchester City campaign, produced by The Berry), Alain Afflelou (produced by Xiaolongbao), and Carl’s Jr. (for its campaign featuring Paris Hilton, produced by Native Foreign) are already utilizing Magnific to automate and optimize their fundamental creative processes.

The Magnific Fund’s training program revolves around six practical production workflows that address the volume, speed, and localization demands of contemporary creative teams.

  • Packaging Ready Before the Product Exists:
Generate multiple packaging variations before a physical sample is available.
  • One-Click Multi-Language Launches:
Instantly localize posters, banners, and outdoor advertising (OOH) across diverse markets without depending on local agencies.
  • No-Shoot Product Photography:
Create comprehensive catalogs and lifestyle photoshoots while preserving a consistent look and feel.
  • Instant Brand Asset Animation:
Develop motion graphics, animated logos, and brand mascots directly from a text-based brief.
  • Scale One Creative Asset into a Hundred:
Generate all necessary formats, audience variations, and languages for a paid campaign within a single afternoon.
  • Produce a TV Commercial in a Week:
Oversee casting, wardrobe, storyboarding, footage, music, voiceover, and final 4K delivery using solely internal team resources.

Magnific serves over 1 million paying subscribers globally, ranging from freelance creatives to major brands, agencies, and production studios. Its corporate clientele includes creative teams from entities such as the BBC, Delivery Hero, Guess, Mayoral, Huel, R/GA, Damm, and Job&Talent.
