HONOR has unveiled the specifications for its latest book-style foldable, the Magic V6, following the success of the Magic V5. The key features of the Magic V6 revolve around engineering, endurance, and productivity, which translate to a slimmer design, a larger battery, and enhanced multitasking capabilities enabled by the expansive folding screen. While most of the technical details were revealed at MWC earlier in 2026, the official UK launch is imminent, complete with pricing information.

The Magic V6 is touted as the thinnest foldable at launch, with the White model measuring 8.75mm when folded and 4.0mm when unfolded, weighing 219g. It’s important to note that the other color options (Black, Red, and Gold) are slightly thicker and heavier. The device’s slim profile is achieved by redesigning internal components like the antenna, speaker chamber, SIM tray, USB-C port, NFC module, and vibration motor, compactly fitting them into the structure.

The Magic V6 comes in four finishes: Red, Gold, White, and Black. Each variant boasts a unique material – eco-friendly leather for Red, glass fiber finish for Gold and Black, and aerospace special fiber for White, which contributes to weight reduction. Notably, the White version will only be available through the HONOR e-store, while the other colors will be accessible through various channels.

In terms of display, the Magic V6 features LTPO AMOLED panels on both the inner and outer screens, offering a refresh rate range of 1 to 120Hz and 4320Hz PWM dimming. The inner display measures 7.95 inches with a resolution of 2352 by 2172, while the outer display is 6.52 inches with a resolution of 2420 by 1080. Both panels support stylus input, although the stylus is sold separately.

HONOR has significantly enhanced the durability of the Magic V6, with the unfolded display being 33% more impact-resistant than its predecessor and featuring a 44% reduction in crease depth. The battery capacity is a standout feature, with a 6,660mAh typical capacity battery, the largest among foldables, and impressive energy density figures. The device is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 16GB of LPDDR5X memory and 512GB of UFS 4.1 storage.

The camera setup on the Magic V6 includes a triple AI Falcon Camera System comprising a 50MP main sensor, a 50MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 64MP periscope telephoto sensor. The phone runs on MagicOS 10 based on Android 16, offering productivity features like Multi-Flex and Fast Flex for enhanced multitasking capabilities.

Connectivity options on the Magic V6 include Bluetooth 6.0, Wi-Fi 7, USB-C port, NFC, and support for two physical SIMs plus eSIM. The device is IP68 and IP69 rated, ensuring advanced ingress protection and durability. The hinge is rated for 500,000 folds, with a bionic cushioning system to disperse impact during drops.

Despite the initial RRP of £1,999, the Magic V6 is available for £1,499 through direct purchase channels, with a substantial discount applied automatically. Additionally, HONOR is offering a tech bundle including earbuds, headphones, and a fitness tracker with each purchase. The device is available in all four colors in the UK, with the White model exclusive to the HONOR e-store.

In summary, the Magic V6 presents a compelling package with its combination of a large battery, flagship processor, impressive camera setup, and enhanced durability. While some features like brightness, battery life, and energy density figures are based on internal testing, the device offers a competitive value proposition at an effective price of £1,499.
