Volkswagen Recalls Polo, T-Cross, and T-Roc Models Due to Instrument Panel Cluster Issue

Volkswagen Group Australia has issued a recall for certain models of the Volkswagen Polo hatchback, T-Cross, and T-Roc crossover SUVs. The recall is to address a fault that could prevent the instruments on these vehicles from displaying properly.

According to the company’s recall notice, a software issue with the Instrument Panel Cluster (IPC) may cause critical information such as vehicle speed and fuel level to not be visible. This could pose a safety risk as driving without this information could lead to accidents resulting in injury or death.

Owners of affected vehicles are advised not to drive if the instrument cluster remains blank upon starting the vehicle. They are instructed to contact an authorized Volkswagen dealer to schedule a software update, which will be done free of charge.

For further inquiries or to check if your vehicle is affected, you can reach out to the Volkswagen Recall Campaign Hotline at 1800 504 076.

Details of the Recall:

  • A total of 1192 vehicles from the Polo, T-Cross, and T-Roc lines, manufactured between 2024 and 2025, are impacted by the recall.
  • The Vehicle Identification Number (VIN) list for affected vehicles is available for reference.
  • The original recall notice with complete details is accessible for review.

Ensuring the safety of the affected vehicles, Volkswagen urges owners to take immediate action to resolve the software issue and prevent any potential risks on the road.
