British BioTech startup, Houdini Bio, has emerged from stealth mode today after securing approximately €1.7 million (£1.5 million) in pre-Seed funding to validate its DNA sequence design infrastructure platform. This platform is designed to overcome biological barriers that currently limit the effectiveness of genetic medicines.

The funding round was led by SCVC, the venture arm of Science Creates, with participation from Deep Science Ventures and the University of Cambridge (Cambridge Enterprise VC).
